The Bauchi State Command of Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, has said it arrested 172 traffic offenders in the state.
The Sector Head of Operations, Bauchi Command, Paul Gua, who disclosed this yesterday during an interview at his office in Bauchi, said five mobile courts were established at different locations in the state.
He said: “The arrest of the traffic offenders were made from December 20 to January 15.
“The mobile courts were established in Toro Local Government, Darazo, Bara town, near Gombe State, Alkaleri and Bauchi.
“The traffic offences include making of phone calls while driving, over-speeding, overloading, using of worn out tyres among others.”
