Hon Frank Mughele has called on Nigerian leaders do away with the winners take politics and start practicing an all inclusive government.Mughele
He made this known in an interview with news men while advocating for good governance as a machinery to growth and development. In his words, “Giving appointment or positions base on party affiliation has been the major problem of Nigeria’s growth in all sectors”.
Mughele who contested under the APC in the just concluded Delta State Local government election, a graduate of Political science, Delta State University, Abraka, spoke further saying, “winner takes all brings more harm than good because even a mediocre is given appointment when the party knows fully well that the person is not good for the job. For us to grow, parties should jettison ethnic, party politics and tow the line of meritocracy.
“Using the frustration aggression theory, the people are yearning for good governance because they are frustrated in all spheres and sectors including State government and Local government with the rate of amateurs in the system of administration in the name of party faithful”.
Hon Mughele continued by pleading to stakeholders, leaders and party chieftains to emulate the good part of America governance where opposition are brought to leadership table to pilot the state together because the state is bigger than all political parties.
