Okocha bags Ikejiani title of Onicha-Ugbo

ONICHA-UGBO—A community leader and businessman, Chief Francis Okocha has been bestowed with the chieftaincy title of Ikejiani of Onicha-Ugbo in Aniocha North local gov­ernment area of Delta State, by the traditional ruler of the community, His Royal Majesty, Obi Victor Chukwumalieze I.

According to the monarch, “Chief Okocha has over the years shown great interest towards contributing his quota to the overall development of the community. Apart from being a onetime Secretary- General of the Onicha-Ugbo Patriotic Union, OPU, worldwide, he donated a well equipped multi-purpose ambulance to the community.”

While praying to God and the ancestors to grant the Ikejiani good health and long life, Obi Chukwumalieze enjoined others to emulate the good gesture of the new Ikejiani.

In a brief response, Chief Okocha thanked the monarch, the council of chiefs and the entire people of the community for finding him worthy to be so honoured with the Ikejiani title, promising to continue to do his best for the progress of the community.
