‘We can treat spinal cord injuries in N-East’

Bauchi—THE Chief Medical Director, Bauchi Specialist Hospital, Dr. Ya’a Sulaiman, has declared that patients of spinal cord and brain injuries in the North-East need not panic over their health status.

According to him, the hospital has been equipped with sophisticated Magnetic Resonance Imaging, MRI, machine to facilitate management of their cases, and that the facility will function for 24 hours daily.

He assured people in the North-East that the machines had the capacity to render services to the region and beyond.

Dr. Ya’u stressed that the hospital’s partnership with Jos Electricity Distribution Company has guaranteed 22 hours power supply and transformed the operating system of the hospital.

He said the hospital was servicing the entire North-East states of Taraba, Gombe, Adamawa, Borno and Yobe.
