A front line aspirant of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, for the state House of Assembly for Warri North state constituency, Elder Prince Eyione, has urged all Deltans to come out massively to re-elect Governor Ifanyi Okowa in 2019.

Eyione made the appeal in Koko, headquarters of Warri North Local Government Area, when he addressed his supporters in Koko, saying, “The governor has performed very well in developing the riverine communities, hence we must cast our votes for him to continue.”

The House of Assembly hopeful called on the good and peace loving people of Warri North to send him as their messenger to represent them in the state House of Assembly come 2019, because he understands the pains of his people hence “motion for transformation of the area will be my priority.”

Eyione, who also listed his contributions to the PDP having served the party and still serving in various capacities, said a vote for him for the state House of Assembly was a vote for accountability and pragmatic legislation.

He appealed to party delegates in Warri North to give him their support and vote having contested for the position twice and was prevailed upon to step down.

He thanked the youths of both the Itsekiri and Ijaws for their support given to him so far.
